Undr The Soundcast 7. Trance from Tom Rogers
Tom Rogers was originally scheduled to play from 1:00am-2:30am in the side room. Instead, they had him continue to 4:30am, resulting in a 3.5 hour set covering a broad spectrum of Trance and EDM influences. The mix recording itself features lots of Tom’s fascination with glitch effects, as well as spoken word samples from Hunter S. Thompson in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” One of his vocalists in an upcoming track also appears in a sample with a death metal growl, screaming “It’s Tom Rogers Bitch!” Other acts in the night featured international Trance duo Kyau & Albert and Eco.
Having heard Tom Rogers music and vibin’ out to it more than once, I was stoked to share this with you all. If you ever have an opportunity to listen to music from a true artists mind here it is.
