Up & Coming In 2013: Darth & Vader

In our last Up & Coming we brought you Cali’s K Theory but today we have for you producer/dj Hugo Castellan aka Darth & Vader. With the access to technology spreading globally the future stars of EDM will not just hail from Netherlands but will arise from all around the world and our first international “Up & Coming Artist of 2013″ is a Brazilian so sit back and turn it up!

Darth & Vader is considered an electro house producer but his influences are much more and you can feel the complextro, dirty electro, dubstep, rock and progressive throughout his originals and remixes. Originally DV was a duo starting in 2009, as 2012 came around Hugo took the reigns and has not looked back.

DV releases have hit the top 10 spots in Beatports Electro Charts as well as remixs for R3hab, Afrojack and many more. DV tracks have been heard in sets throughout the world Lazy Rich, Moby & Armin at ASOT 500 Ultra(we were there and now we know whose awesome track we heard live) to name a few. 2012 has been a break through year dominating the Brazil/South American EDM scene heavy touring all over his native country. It was only a matter of time till DV would find his way abroad in 2012 visiting US, Australia and New Zealand.

So as 2012 is winding down and we quickly approach 2013 we find Darth & Vader in the US again and we are patiently awaiting their NYC debut! With more originals scheduled to drop in 2013 and definitely more remixes on the way DV will be a force to be reckoned with!
