Welcome to our first posting of Synchronice’s “Your Name Here Feature”. It is not an easy task to attain exposure nowadays for good up and coming EDM artists. They have to message, share, spam and then hope that their music is heard by enough people to gain traction. Well Synchronice have provided a platform for these lesser known producers to reach a large and already established fan base. We solute them and are super excited to keep featuring these posts till their hands cramp.
Synchronice “Your Name Here”
Sorry for the delay on this month’s “Your Name Here Feature.” This one took a bit longer to put together because it’s a double feature! Since 1/2 of Synchronice is in the UK for the next 3 months it only seemed appropriate to feature two of England’s finest: Jay Cosmic and Konec. These are names you are definitely going to be seeing more of in 2013. Check out a bit more about these rising talents below!
Jay Cosmic is a name that you’d do well to become familiar with, because by all accounts he’s blowing up. Into The Am and Bangerzonly have declared this 18 year old, Manchester native a rising star in the EDM scene and they have every reason to. His remix of ‘Saturn’ by Kill The Noise has made its way into sets from Porter Robinson, 3LAU, Dirtyloud and Mikkas. His sound is one that is being heard in increasingly more and more venues the world over. Currently under the management of Josie Martin (of the DJ duo Candyland) Jay is poised to take the dance music scene by storm in 2013. So keep your eyes peeled, and your fingers crossed for more otherwordly releases.’
Konec is the newest endeavor from Richard Wilkins, an 18 year-old producer and remixer from Southampton, UK. Gaining quick notoriety for his power packed remixes and original tracks, the young producer released (to much appreciation and over 10,000 downloads) his first original tracks; “Immortal” and “Forever”.This sparked an interest in well known DJ and producer xKore, who swooped in and became Konec’s manager. Now with his massive “Cascade EP” signed to Dub-All-Or-Nothing, Konec is proving to be an unstoppable force.
