Two weeks ago on Saturday night, if you walked through the doors of Output on Wythe Ave, you would have found the most diverse crowd amongst the dancefloor, bar, and beautiful F1 system. Anja Schneider, Sebo K, and Ray Okpara took Output to whole other level of synchronized dance, and all around appreciation for music.
Hosted by Blkmarket Membership’s Taimur and Fahad, this remarkable evening with Mobilee Records was not one to be forgotten. With both Output’s main room, and the Panther Room open, and accessible to all in attendance, there was plenty of room to roam and explore. Finally able to enter the official Output rooftop, I was able to see what the fuss was all about; an amazing view of Brooklyn on three different levels with glimmering clear lights and fire torches lit to set the mood. Need a break from dancing all night? This is the perfect place to unwind, sit down, and smoke a cigarette while indulging in the ravishing views of Brooklyn’s underground.

Taimiur started off the evening in Panther Room, while Fahad played opener in the main room. Next up was Ray Okpara in the main room, dropping an amplitude of unreleased tracks. Sebo K took the decks next, playing a variation of deep and groovy house tracks. Next door in the Panther Room, DJ Three and Rick Wade played a bit funkier sets.
Anja Schneider greeted Brooklyn with open arms filled with love when she took the decks and closed out Output on this magical night. She dropped Gotham’s “Ten Walls”, in addition to George Morel’s, “Let’s Groove”. She had a consistent flow throughout her set which resembled a caribbean island vibe. Even once she dropped her last track, she heard her audience hungry for more and played a remix of Romanthony’s “Let Me Show You Love” which the crowd went absolutely wild for. Extending the track’s play for about ten to fifteen minutes, I experienced everyone around me in full out groove mode, dancing as if there was no end, as a thank you to the wonderful Ms. Schnieder. She was greeted with the rest of Mobilee Records on stage, (Ray and Sebo) and together they stood in front of Output’s main room like kings showing complete love and compassion for their fans as the last track finished. A wonderful night could not be more complete than with the energy and love radiating off the three DJs who supplied us with such beautiful melodies all night long. It’s clear to say, I left Output with a smile on my face.
