Last Saturday Verboten took New York’s Sullivan Room to another level of deepness with their crosstown rebels party with Fur Coat, Amirali, and Francesca Lombardo.
Miss Lombardo started the night off with a very intimate set including Gotham’s summer anthem, “Ten Walls”. Amirali took the decks next dropping Deetron’s “Starblazer” in addition to an unreleased Ali Love vocal track, soon to be released on Infinity Ink’s upcoming album. Fur Coat closed out the night playing their signature track from 2012 “Greed Insanity.” The whole night was filled with an abundancy of grooving and dancing, in fact Fur Coat even played a bit of an extended set since the Sullivan Room usually closes at 6, but Fur Coat stayed on the decks a little past 6:30. The lights were turned on as the Sullivan Room staff started cleaning the floors after a long night, but the dance floor was consumed for another hour. The good vibes were endless as a majority of Verboten’s crowd stayed until the very end to hear the last of Fur Coat’s set.
This lively night with Crosstown Rebels was surely not one to forget, but don’t get upset if you weren’t there to join us..
